September 15, 2020As I walk the streets of Los Angeles in August 2020, the atmosphere is tinged with a sense of darkness and emptiness. The once bustling streets, vibrant with economic activity, now appear desolate and devoid of the vitality that once defined them. It is a visual reflection of the underlying societal challenges we confront. Messages abound with hope to reclaim our collective strength, for a sense of balance and equilibrium -in essence a unity that transcends personal interests and fosters a commitment to the well-being of all citizens. The path towards unity is written on the walls for all to see and demands a commitment to finding common ground, bridging gaps, and forging connections that can transcend our differences.
