With a well-worn dodger uniform  Jorge embodies the resilience and unyielding spirit of countless aspiring Puerto Rican and Dominican ballplayers who dare to dream. By his side, a figure of unwavering support and unconditional love, his mother stands with a strength that is both fierce and gentle. Her weathered hands, calloused from hard work, have nurtured his dreams from their very inception. She has been his biggest cheerleader, his guiding light in a world where economic poverty and limited resources threaten aspirations.  Her presence is ever steadfast despite a lack of equipment and limited transportation.  Baseball is an unbreakable bond between a mother and her son.
