Pleneros

The Pleneros in Puerto Rico, dressed in crisp white guayabera shirts and classic black pants, beat their drums with rhythmic precision, filling the air with the soulful sound of “bomba.”  As they sing with passion and purpose, the palms sway with the music, as if moved by the same ancestral beat.  It’s more than a performance; it’s a living Puerto Rican tradition that stirs the soul and unites the community in celebration.
